Trench 6

This trench was cut towards the bottom of the field. There had been some signs of activity on the resistivity survey It was thought a drain might cross this part of Keesbury

There was not a lot of evidence for a ditch but various items of pot  and old pipe and glass was found. It looked as though it had been cultivated a few hundred years ago



This photo shows an extra cut in the corner of the trench to see if it is worth going lower All that was found was natural soil.
